This solution included integration with both corporate and government agencies. The primary workflow was instantiated and driven by postal mail documents that were scanned into a document management system. Integration with web services were then used to review and monitor compliance throughout the workflow. ClearCadence designed, implemented and facilitated the conversion of workflows and data from legacy systems into the OpenText Metastorm BPM-based system. ClearCadence provided services around Alfresco One and Alfresco Activity for use within the county commissions office.  These services included installing and configuring the software, setting up ingestion of existing and newly scanned documents into Alfresco One, building search tools against highly optimized databases, designing and creating workflows utilizing Alfresco Activiti, and mapping integration points for their existing applications.  In addition, we provided best practices and effective usage of the Alfresco technologies to ensure a successful implementation.

ClearCadence provided business process improvement and workflow consulting for the end-to-end processing of provider enrollment applications. This included the ingestion of files for the case creation of web-based applications received. This allowed the users to receive email notifications of successfully created, duplicated and failed cases eliminating the need for manual tracking. The workflow processes also utilized business rules to automatically assign work to end users based on skill sets. A configurable profile for each user was maintained with case types or criteria they can work and provided the flexibility to modify the profile as the users were trained. This significantly reduced time spent manually distributing or reassigning work, improved the efficiency of the work being processed and improved timeliness standards and reporting. ClearCadence provided technical project management, solution architecture and design, installation and configuration, integration development, testing and implementation and ongoing support.

ClearCadence’s project team planned and led a strategic initiative to reengineer the processes for receiving, indexing and actioning Customer documents related to managing insurance policies, and to migrate the content from existing SharePoint repositories to the new platform.  These documents could be received from a number of sources (email, scanning, direct upload etc.), and would be categorized and stored in a Hyland Alfresco Cloud repository.  Our work consisted of a multi-phase effort that included performing analysis and design, development and implementation.  The end solution involved the implementation of workflow processes built on the technology which forms the basis of the Hyland Experience Automate cloud-hosted Platform as a Service (PaaS), a service layer for handling API integration with Enterprise CRM systems, developing a customized Angular framework based front-end application, systems testing, implementing an initial pilot, and assistance with the actual production data migration.

ClearCadence provided expert-level consulting centering on Alfresco Content Services [ACS] in relation to upgrading their existing application.  In addition, we designed and developed a new workflow process for their internal Document Review and Approval process that runs on the embedded Activiti engine on ACS.  This included a complex 4-part review and approval which included pooled and parallel approval tasks. The solution also included email templates and notifications to both the assignees on Task assignments and to the process owners on Review outcomes.  These services also included fixing their current setup and configuring the upgraded application to cater to their needs.  From a reporting perspective, we assisted their Business Intelligence Team to derive relevant and meaningful reporting dashboards.  Lastly, we provided comprehensive Knowledge Transfer and Training to their internal Development Team so that they could handle a first-level of Support to their Business users.  In addition, ClearCadence provided best practices and effective usage of Alfresco Technologies to ensure a successful implementation.

Custom single-sign-on configuration was also developed for the application to authenticate to OpenText Metastorm BPM. ClearCadence is developing and delivering a complete end-to-end solution using the Alfresco Digital Business Platform to enable our customer to manage its Change Control process.  The requirements dictate that changes to policies and procedures must go through a vetting and approval process.  Our solution utilizes the Alfresco Process Services to control the workflow, provide routing, manage approvals, enable escalations and ultimately provide complete visibility and compliance auditing.  The content for the policies and procedures, once approved, are deposited in the Alfresco Content Services and published to the organization.

To assist in these and future acts, ClearCadence developed ClearNotice, a compliance notification system built using K2 blackpearl and Smartforms. ClearNotice allows Compliance Officers to effectively communicate to their company new regulations, laws and procedures required by a governing body. ClearNotice provides complete and end-to-end oversight and direction of these communications by allowing Compliance to create new notifications, provide a summary and a copy of the regulation, Compliance’s position on the regulation, effective and adoption dates and risk priorities. It then assigns specific departments to review the regulation.

ClearCadence was engaged to provide formal education and training for the OpenText ProVision enterprise modeling platform. This consisted of partnering and delivering numerous OpenText training courses both on-premise and via remote distance learning. Courses consisted of formal instruction and hands-on lab exercises. ClearCadence also provided ongoing consulting services which in-turn helped further institute the training knowledge gained by the customer’s students.

Our Customer secured ClearCadence resources for a project engagement to evaluate and asses the current operations and infrastructure in comparison to the business plan and roadmap of their Cloud infrastructure provider subsidiary. Our effort focused on working with the C-levels and key stakeholders to perform the analysis and review, documenting our findings, provide detailed recommendations, get buy-in/consensus on a go-forward strategy and plan, and presenting our deliverable and findings to the executive ownership team. ClearCadence has also been retained to continue the effort and assist with the ongoing analysis and implementing additional recommendations.

ClearCadence provids daily support, monitoring and maintenance of our customer’s entire IBM WebSphere MQ and Integration Bus (Message Broker) integration environment. This includes monitoring queue managers from the mainframe to their open systems platforms. The expert-level service includes 24x7x365 production support, should any incidents arise that cause outages or stop message flow. Our services are critical to their business integrations since they are within their enterprise and their external trading partners. ClearCadence is also providing additional consulting services to enable the Customer to on-board with their new cloud-based, Integration as a Service vendor platform (IaaS).

Our Customer came to ClearCadence in need of assistance with a Microsoft BizTalk and EDI solution that was ready for production. ClearCadence was asked to engage and deploy their solution to the production environment and also complete their development by creating the EDI acknowledgment (277) processing as remitted by their trading partners. Once ClearCadence engaged we then successfully put the project back on-track and our team members continue to be instrumental in the ongoing development and daily support, monitoring and maintenance of our Customer’s BizTalk environment.

Our customer partnered with ClearCadence and secured expert-level consulting services for managing, architecting, designing, developing, testing and deploying Interface/Middleware solutions using Microsoft BizTalk 2013. ClearCadence provided an implementation methodology using a structured, project-based approach while owning the overall delivery of each complete solution for our Customer, allowing them to maintain the overarching supervision. Our Customer gained great efficiencies in partnering with ClearCadence for the solution delivery of this Interface development initiative. ClearCadence’s expert BizTalk consulting capabilities were timely, complimentary and cost effective.
